Kuwait and Oman Sign Nine Agreements to Boost Bilateral Cooperation.

Kuwait: The 10th meeting of the Kuwaiti-Omani committee, chaired by Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya and Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bader Al-Busaidi, took place on Thursday. The meeting focused on strengthening ties and exploring cooperative opportunities between the two nations across various sectors. According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions resulted in the signing of nine Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and executive programs. These agreements aim to enhance collaboration in fields such as tourism, culture and arts, municipal work, agriculture and fishery, consumer protection, land transportation, and Islamic endowment (awqaf). Furthermore, an agreement was reached to enhance cooperation between Kuwait's Civil Service Commission and Oman's Ministry of Labor, along with a MoU focused on marine navigation. These initiatives are expected to bolster the partnership between Kuwait and Oman, fostering mutual benefits and growth in the aforementioned sectors.
