Kuwait and Oman Aim to Enhance Security Cooperation

Kuwait City: Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah held talks on Wednesday with his Omani counterpart Hamoud Al Busaidi over efforts to bolster security cooperation between the Gulf Arab neighbors. Praising the "depth" of bilateral relations with Muscat, a Kuwaiti interior ministry statement highlighted that security cooperation with the Gulf Arab Sultanate has made exemplary progress, while the Omani interior minister cited their "common views" on security-related matters.

According to Kuwait News Agency, amid his official state visit to the Gulf Arab Sultanate, the Kuwaiti interior minister held similar talks with Muscat's Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, which also focused on efforts to propel security relations to greater levels, added the statement.
