Kuwait and Japan Strengthen Culinary Bonds with Wagyu Promotion

Kuwait city: In a move reflecting the depth of trade and culinary ties, the Embassy of Japan in Kuwait organized a Wagyu Promotion Seminar at SAKURA Restaurant in Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event follows the signing of an agreement allowing the import of Halal-certified Wagyu from Japan to Kuwait, opening the door for local food suppliers to introduce the premium Japanese delicacy to the Kuwaiti market.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the seminar brought together leading restaurant and hotel operators, food importers, and chefs, highlighting growing interest in high-quality Japanese products. The program featured a live culinary demonstration showcasing the proper handling, preparation, and serving of A5 Wagyu, the highest grade of Japanese beef, renowned for its exceptional marbling and tenderness.

The event concluded with a tasting session, where attendees sampled a selection of Wagyu dishes, including roast beef, Wagyu sando (beef cutlet sandwich), and Wagyu steak.
