Kuwait City: Kuwait's Ministry of Oil, on Monday, engaged in discussions with a delegation from the Iraqi Oil Ministry to explore boosting cooperation in the oil and gas sectors. The meeting emphasized the potential for developing energy projects and exchanging expertise between the two nations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions highlighted the importance of leveraging technical and technological assets from both sides. The two parties underscored the significance of strengthening bilateral relations in the oil sector, maintaining dialogue and coordination to address challenges, and establishing projects aimed at economic integration, energy security, and regional oil market stability.
The Kuwaiti delegation was led by Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Nemr Fahad Al-Sabah, while Ambassador Al-Manhal Al-Safi headed the Iraqi delegation.
