Kuwait city: Kuwait and Bahrain signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance their health collaboration. The signing ceremony was attended by Kuwait's Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, his Bahraini counterpart, Dr. Jaleela bint Sayed Jawad, and Bahrain's Ambassador to Kuwait, Salah Al-Malki.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Hesham Kelendar, the Health Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Foreign Health Services Affairs, emphasized that the MoU embodies the sisterly relations between Kuwait and Bahrain and represents a strategic partnership. This partnership aims to develop and upgrade healthcare services to align with sustainable development goals and enhance regional health security.
The MoU is also intended to open new avenues for future cooperation in training, sharing efficiencies, and developing research and technical fields. It seeks to strengthen collaboration between both nations in various healthcare areas, including medical expertise and knowledge sharing.
