Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) alongside His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. They were welcomed by KNG Chief Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, KNG Deputy Chief Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and KNG Undersecretary Maj. Gen. Hamad Salem Al-Barjas.
According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness the Amir expressed honor in visiting the KNG to congratulate its leaders and personnel on the holy month of Ramadan. His Highness praised the dedication and sacrifice of KNG personnel and acknowledged their contributions to the development of the military. He highlighted the KNG's role as a steadfast protector of the nation, ensuring security and supporting state institutions.
His Highness the Amir also commended the KNG's recent accomplishments in training and exercises. He instructed KNG leaders to maintain vigilance, conduct surprise field visits, and ensure the readiness and maintenance of weapons systems. He emphasized the adoption of the latest technologies, the use of artificial intelligence, and improving national security through international cooperation.
KNG Undersecretary Maj. Gen. Hamad Salem Al-Barjas thanked His Highness the Amir for visiting, noting the spirit of unity it represented. He stressed the KNG's commitment to protecting the homeland under the leadership of His Highness the Amir. The visit concluded with a documentary on the KNG's achievements and a presentation of a commemorative gift to His Highness the Amir.
