Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah signed a decree on Tuesday establishing the board of directors for the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) for the next four years, with the possibility of a one-time renewal.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the newly formed board will be chaired by Khaled Mohammad Abdullah Al-Zamel, with Manal Khaled Saleh Al-Mazyad serving as the Vice Chairman. Other members include Waleed Issa Abdullah Al-Hasawi, Dhari Adel Abdulrahman Al-Huwail, Zainab Monjed Al-Bader Al-Qenaei, and Abdullah Fahad Abdullah Al-Khuzam. The decree mandates that Minister of State for Communication Affairs Omar Al-Omar is responsible for executing the decree once it is published in the official gazette.
