Meanwhile, in Cairo, Kuwaiti Ambassador Ghanem Al-Ghanim emphasized Kuwait's dedication to advancing reforms within the United Nations (UN) and the UN Security Council (UNSC) to bolster their roles in promoting international security and peace.
Additionally, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Bader Abdelati commended Kuwait's leadership in steering governmental negotiations aimed at reforming the Security Council, both in recent years and during the current session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In terms of energy initiatives, Kuwait's Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Resources Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem announced the nation's commitment to renewable energy. The goal is to achieve 50 percent of electricity usage from renewable sources by 2050.
