Kuwait City: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, on his country's Independence Day.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in the cable, His Highness the Amir wished President Marcos good health and well-being. He also expressed hopes for further progress and prosperity for the Philippines and its people.
