Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to the President-Elect of Ireland, Catherine Connolly, on her election victory.
According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness the Amir praised the strong bilateral ties between Kuwait and Ireland. He expressed his wishes for President-Elect Connolly's success in her future endeavors and conveyed hopes for progress and development for the Irish people.
