Kuwait Ambassador Presents Credentials to Swedish King

Stockholm: Kuwait's new Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, Mohammad Yaqoub Hayati, presented his credentials to King Carl XVI Gustaf at a ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The ceremony marked an official step in strengthening the diplomatic ties between Kuwait and Sweden.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwait Embassy in Stockholm released a press statement indicating that during the event, Ambassador Hayati conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to the Swedish King. The message included best wishes for Sweden and its people.

The meeting between King Gustaf and Ambassador Hayati highlighted the commendable relations between Kuwait and Sweden, noting the celebration of the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations this year. The discussion underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation across various domains to benefit both nations.

King Gustaf also requested the Kuwaiti envoy to pass on his greetings to His Highness the Amir and the Crown Prince of Kuwait. He expressed his hopes for Ambassador Hayati's success in his mission to further strengthen the relations between Kuwait and Sweden.
