Kuwait City: Kuwait Airways has been ranked 20th among the best-performing airlines in the world for 2024, among the top 109 airlines worldwide, according to the annual report issued by Air Help.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in a press release Monday, Kuwait Airways Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdulmohsen Al-Faqaan, stated that the company achieved 88 percent in punctuality of flight departure times, 85 percent in passenger reviews, 43 percent in refunds, and 72 percent in the Air Help website rating.
Al-Faqaan attributed this success to the effort made by Kuwait Airways employees throughout the past year, particularly in the summer season of 2024. He highlighted their dedication to achieving these positions globally.
He emphasized that Kuwait Airways will continue to update its services and keep pace with developments in the aviation industry. Al-Faqaan noted that the company is focusing on the technical and technological front and expanding cooperation with national companies, which contributes to stimulating Kuwait’s economy and aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035.
Kuwait Airways was established in 1953 as a private company under the name Kuwait National Airways Limited and began its first flights on March 16, 1954. The Kuwaiti government acquired full ownership in 1962.
