Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has emphasized its dedication to actively participating in the updating and amending process of the UNCITRAL Model Law. This commitment aligns with the evolving landscape of international legal developments.
According to Kuwait News Agency, this declaration was made in a statement by Abdullah Boqrais, a member of Kuwait's delegation from the Fatwa and Legislation Department, during the 83rd session of the second work group on dispute settlement of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law. The meeting focused on legal amendments aimed at enhancing the recognition and enforcement of arbitral decisions issued in electronic form, reflecting technological advancements and facilitating international trade and investment.
Kuwait's delegation to the session included Deputy Director of the Department Counselor Tahani Al-Rashidi and State Attorney Abdullah Bougheis.
