Kuwait Acting PM Commends Delegation’s Success at GCC Cyber Security Exercise

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah received Kuwait's National Cyber Security Center delegation following their participation in the fourth GCC Cyber Security Exercise hosted in Riyadh on April 22.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf congratulated the delegation on their achievement, which demonstrated their efficiency and readiness in handling cyberattacks. The exercise was organized based on the decisions from the third meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Cybersecurity, aiming to enhance cooperation in cyber defense and experience exchange within the Gulf region.

The exercise focused on countering cyberattacks targeting technical operating systems and information technology systems. It simulated real threat scenarios to improve the preparedness of cybersecurity teams across GCC countries. About 30 specialists from various cybersecurity bodies and institutions in the GCC participated in the exercise.
