Kuwait Achieves Significant Wins in Asian Track and Field Championship

Kuwait city: Kuwaiti athletes have made notable achievements at the Asian track and field tournament, securing a series of medals in various events. The highlight of their success was winning the gold medal in the 100x4 relay race, clocking a time of 70.4 seconds. The victorious team comprised athletes Sayyed Fakher, Meshari Al-Mutairi, Jassem Al-Ginaee, and Abdullah Al-Azmi.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Suleiman Al-Shamroukh added to Kuwait's medal tally by claiming a silver medal in the hammer throw with a distance of 51.55 meters. Additionally, Kuwait excelled in the long jump event, with Abdullah Al-Azmi securing a gold medal and his teammates Saleh Al-Khabbaz and Mohammad Al-Duaij both earning silver medals.

The athletes continued to shine in other events as well. Meshari Al-Mutairi won a gold medal in the 110-meter hurdles, while Jassem Al-Qinaee secured a silver medal in the same category. In the 800-meter race, Saad Al-Rashidi and Abdulatif Al-Failakawi earned a bronze medal, contributing to Kuwait's successful campaign. Furthermore, Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani brought home a bronze medal in the shot put event.
