Kuwait confirmed 1,417 new COVID-19 infections on Thursday, raising the total 272,562 cases.
The Ministry of Health said that 8 virus infected patient had passed away, bringing the death toll to 1,554 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that
1,394 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 255,817.
The health authorities conducted 11,208 swab tests, bringing the overall number to 1,822,389, said KUNA.
The health authorities conducted 9,423 swab tests, taking the overall number of tests to 2,316,838.
