Kuwait city: Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) organized the "Your Awareness Protects You" event in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aiming to highlight the importance of early detection, prevention, and promoting knowledge about risk factors and healthy practices.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Director of Marketing and Public Relations Department at the agency, Esam Al-Ruwayeh, stated that KUNA annually holds awareness activities focusing on breast cancer symptoms, risk factors, and early detection. The initiative aims to boost recovery rates, reduce complications, and promote psychological support, healthy lifestyles, and balanced nutrition among employees.
A member of the "First Step" Volunteer Team, Mona Al-Laho, emphasized that awareness is the most powerful tool against the disease. She affirmed the team's commitment to raising public awareness through educational campaigns, hospital visits, and activities that spread health knowledge and support patients.
