KUNA Media Training Center Concludes Podcast, Voice Over Skills Program

Kuwait city: The KUNA Media Skills Development Center on Thursday concluded its training program on podcasting, dubbing, and voice-over techniques, with the participation of staff from Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Public Authority for Youth, and the State Audit Bureau. The program, conducted by media specialist Dr. Bassam Al-Jazzaf, encompassed a range of skills essential for modern media work.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the program, which began last Sunday, provided participants with practical training on producing professional podcasts. This included guidance on idea selection, identifying target audiences, scriptwriting, recording, editing, and publishing. Participants also received coaching on voice delivery, focusing on tone control, breathing, pacing, vocal coloring, and effective audio expression.

The training further explored various forms of voice-over performance, dubbing, and voice acting. Participants learned about character analysis, synchronizing audio with movement, scene recording, and performance direction. The program also introduced recording tools, sound equipment, and editing techniques aimed at achieving professional-grade audio quality and building a cohesive vocal identity.

Dr. Al-Jazzaf emphasized the importance of such programs in modern media. He noted the strategic role of voice in strengthening institutional presence and influence. He highlighted that strong vocal delivery, expression skills, and audio content creation are now crucial for professionals in media and corporate communication. He stated that voice can build direct connections with audiences, delivering messages more clearly and effectively than other mediums. The program's practical component allowed participants to immediately apply their skills, enhancing their vocal performance and enabling the production of publishable real-world content.

The KUNA Media Skills Development Center, established in December 1995, is recognized as one of Kuwait's leading media training institutions.
