KUNA Chief and Indian Ambassador Discuss Media Collaboration

Kuwait City: Acting Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Mohammad Al-Mannai and Ambassador of India to Kuwait Dr. Adarsh Swaika met to explore avenues for enhancing media cooperation and addressing various media-related topics.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting took place at the agency's headquarters. Both parties highlighted the crucial role of media in fortifying bilateral relations between Kuwait and India and expanding them into broader scopes. They underscored the significance of exchanging media expertise between KUNA and Indian media institutions, aiming to build cooperative bridges and engage in joint training initiatives.

The discussion also covered the foundational principles of KUNA's operations and its objective news handling through its network of correspondents and offices worldwide, especially in India. Ambassador Swaika commended KUNA for its efforts, impartial news coverage, and its role in spotlighting Kuwait's stance on regional and international matters. He reiterated India's dedication to bolstering bilateral relations with Kuwait across various sectors, with a particular focus on media collaboration.

The meeting also saw the attendance of Deputy Director General for Editorial Affairs Esam Al-Ghanim and Director of Marketing and Public Relations Lamya Al-Faresi.
