Kuwait city: KUNA Acting Director General, Mohammad Al-Mannai, engaged in discussions with Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Abu Al-Wafa to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral media cooperation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting underscored the critical role that media institutions in Kuwait and Egypt play in fostering cooperation and cultural understanding between the two nations and their people. The discussions focused on various frameworks for media cooperation, with particular emphasis on training programs and the exchange of expertise.
Al-Mannai highlighted KUNA's collaborative relationship with Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA), which centers on the exchange of news and photographs. He emphasized the importance of continued communication and coordination to leverage shared expertise and support joint media efforts in addressing challenges.
Ambassador Abu Al-Wafa commended KUNA for its national and professional role as a credible news source. He expressed his satisfaction with visiting the esteemed media institution, noting its reputation for delivering accurate information.
The meeting was also attended by KUNA Deputy Director General for Editorial Affairs Issam Al-Ghanem, Acting Editor-in-Chief Mohammad Al-Bahar, and Director of the Director General's Office Lamyaa Al-Farisi.
