King of Jordan Urges Arab-EU Coordination for Just Peace

Amman: King of Jordan Abdullah II on Tuesday emphasized the importance of sustainable coordination between Arab countries and the European Union (EU) to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the King made these remarks during a phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The conversation focused on recent regional developments, as noted in a press release from the Royal Court.

The King also highlighted the necessity of increasing international efforts to halt the conflict in the Gaza Strip. He praised European calls for ensuring humanitarian aid reaches all areas of the Gaza Strip.

During the phone conversation, both leaders explored ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and the EU, noting the recently signed strategic and comprehensive partnership agreement.
