Kijls: The Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies (KIJLS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Tuesday with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and develop human resources through specialized training programs.
According to Kuwait News Agency, KIJLS's Director General First Attorney General Counselor Bader Al-Massad stated that the MoU establishes a structured institutional framework for joint cooperation between the two entities. It aims to unify efforts in areas of mutual interest, serving shared national and humanitarian goals.
Al-Massad highlighted that the MoU focuses on supporting legal training and development, raising legal awareness in society, and exchanging scientific and research expertise. This will be achieved by organizing joint training programs, courses, and workshops.
He further noted that this cooperation strengthens the humanitarian mission undertaken by KRCS by supporting it with a legal and knowledge-based dimension, aligning with the academic and training role of KIJLS.
In a similar statement to KUNA, the Chairman of KRCS, Khaled Al-Mughamis, emphasized that the MoU aims to achieve common goals in spreading legal and humanitarian awareness, enhancing training and scientific research, and exchanging experiences and expertise. This contributes to supporting distinguished relations and strengthening institutional ties.
The signing of the MoU stems from KRCS's commitment to building effective partnerships with specialized national institutions. Al-Mughamis pointed out that combining the humanitarian dimension with legal knowledge is a fundamental pillar for developing institutional work and improving the efficiency of personnel working in the humanitarian field.
Al-Mughamis also emphasized that this cooperation is part of KRCS's efforts to expand its strategic partnerships and strengthen its humanitarian and institutional role in line with modern developments, serving its national and humanitarian mission.
