Kuwait city: Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) of the UAE, focusing on cooperation in scientific research and space exploration.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the agreement aims to develop national capabilities in the sector and promote the exchange of expertise in space exploration and remote sensing. The MoU outlines plans for both organizations to jointly organize workshops, symposia, and training sessions, alongside enhancing technical and research projects. These efforts are intended to support the establishment of a national database on space science.
The collaboration follows KFAS's involvement in the launch of the Kuwait National Center for Space Research last September, an initiative under the patronage of His Highness the Amir.
