Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Arrives in Pakistan for Official Visit

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, along with his delegation, has arrived in Islamabad for a two-day official visit to Pakistan. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening the ties between the two nations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the visit serves as a precursor to the forthcoming visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, which is scheduled for November. During his stay, Murat Nurtleu is set to engage in a tete-a-tete with his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, followed by delegation-level discussions.

In addition to these talks, meetings of the Joint Working Groups on Agriculture and IT will be held on the sidelines of the visit. Furthermore, the Kazakh official is scheduled to meet with the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The discussions are expected to review preparations for the upcoming Presidential visit and deliberate on the full spectrum of Pak-Kazakh bilateral cooperation. Key areas of focus include trade and investment, agriculture, education, cultural and tourism exchanges, regional connectivity, logistics, and collaboration at multilateral fora.

This visit aims to further cement the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, contributing to the deepening of bilateral engagements in various fields, ultimately benefiting the people of both countries.
