Justice Minister: GCC Ministerial Meeting Reflects Sincere Desire for Cooperation

Kuwait city: The 35th meeting of GCC Justice Ministers reflects regional desire to boost cooperation, Justice Minister Nasser Al-Sumait said on Sunday. Delivering his opening speech to the meeting, Minister Al-Sumait affirmed that the GCC judicial system was witnessing continuous development especially in the field of joint cooperation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Sumait expressed hope that the meeting would reach agreements to enhance cooperation within the judicial domain, stating that all participants were eager to share visions meeting the aspirations of the region's leaderships and people. He emphasized the willingness of countries in the region to boost cooperation during both prosperity and tragedy.

The minister also expressed his deepest sorrow over the Israeli occupation's recent aggression against the State of Qatar. Furthermore, he addressed the situation in the Gaza Strip, asserting that justice must be served for those affected by the crimes of the Israeli occupation. The minister highlighted the GCC's support for the Palestinian people, underscoring the importance of solidarity within the region.
