Jeddah Hosts US-Ukraine Talks Amid Ongoing Crisis

Jeddah: Upon the directives of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the talks between the United States and Ukraine in Jeddah on Tuesday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the talks were attended by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Minister of State Dr. Musaed bin Mohammad Al-Aiban. The US delegation was represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, while the Ukrainian delegation included Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

The talks are part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to address the crisis in Ukraine, leveraging its balanced relationships with various stakeholders and its commitment to promoting international security and peace, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
