Jazeera Airways Reports KD 14.4 Million Net Profit for First Nine Months of 2024.

Kuwait City: Jazeera Airways Company announced a net profit of KD 14.4 million (approximately USD 47 million) for the first nine months of 2024, marking an 8.2 percent increase with a share value of 65.28 fils per share. The announcement was made on Monday as part of the company's financial disclosures for the period. According to Kuwait News Agency, Jazeera Airways CEO Marwan Boodai revealed that the group's operating revenue experienced a rise of 2.9 percent, reaching KD 163.5 million (about USD 533.7 million) during the same period. Boodai highlighted that the airline recorded profits of KD 11.6 million (approximately USD 37.8 million) in the third quarter of 2024, reflecting a significant jump of 66.1 percent and a share value of 52.86 fils per share. The airline also reported that the number of passengers reached 3.7 million in the first nine months of 2024, indicating a growth of 3.9 percent compared to the same period last year. Boodai mentioned that the airline's designated terminal, T5, saw an incr ease in earnings by 5.8 percent in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the same timeframe in the previous year. Jazeera Airways, founded in 2004 and listed on Boursa Kuwait in 2008, focuses on providing low-budget flights.
