Japan Sci-Tech Forum Fetes Kuwaiti Engineer for Leadership Skills

Kyoto: An annual science and technology forum in the Japanese city of Kyoto on Sunday honored Kuwaiti engineer Meshal Al-Otaibi for his promising leadership skills, amid a large-scale international gathering attended by Japanese Emperor Naruhito.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti engineer expressed his pride over the achievement during the Science and Technology in Society forum (STS). Al-Otaibi stated that he was honored to represent his country at such a significant event, highlighting the "perennial goal" of promoting a culture of technological innovation in line with Kuwait's "Vision 2035."

Presenting his research on improving energy efficiency and reducing reliance on fossil fuels through cutting carbon emissions, Al-Otaibi emphasized the importance of the forum. He noted that the event brings together youth leaders and prominent decision-makers to discuss the future of the technology industry.
