Israeli warplanes attacked southern locations in Syria early on Sunday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said.
SANA said the fighter jet targeted outposts in the Golan Heights, adding that Syrian air defenses retaliated for the air strike.
A number of the air-to-surface missiles unleashed by the raiding aircraft were knocked out of the skies, SANA said.
The Israeli warplanes have repeatedly attacked targets in Syria inflicting casualties and damage.
