Khan Yunis: Some 10 people, including children, were killed in Israeli occupation strikes on several locations in Khan Yunis city, Gaza Strip, said a media source on Sunday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, citing local sources, last night Israeli drone strikes targeted displaced people's tents in various areas of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
One of the strikes targeted a tent sheltering the Al-Alami family in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of the city, killing the entire family: Moatassem Mohammad Al-Alami, his wife Kinan, and their two children, Mohammad and Nada.
In a separate strike in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, another Israeli drone attack killed four members of the Al-Agha family: Abd Al-Salam Mahmoud Al-Agha, his wife Nasifa, and their young children Ayloul and Zeina.
Additionally, teenager Ahmad Mohammad Nasr Fahjan was killed and seven others injured when a drone targeted the Fahjan family's tent south of Khan Younis. Another Palestinian was killed when a drone targeted a bicycle near the town of Al-Qarara, northwest of the city.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the nearby town of Abasan Al-Kabira, accompanied by heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 52,810 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 119,473 others injured.
