Israeli Occupation Launches Wide-Scale Attack on Iran Nuclear Facilities, Kills Army Chief

Tehran: The Israeli occupation has initiated a large-scale military operation targeting Iran's military and nuclear facilities, resulting in the death of the chief of army staff, Mohammad Bagheri, alongside other military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Iran's official TV confirmed the deaths of several prominent figures in the military and nuclear sectors, as well as casualties among civilians. The operation, named "Rising Lion" by the Israeli forces, specifically targeted the Natanz nuclear site, a key uranium enrichment facility. Visuals broadcasted on Iranian TV depicted smoke columns rising from the site.

Despite the attack, Iranian authorities have reported to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that there are no increased radiation levels detected in the Natanz area. The Iranian TV also reassured that no radiation spikes have been recorded following the operation.
