Gaza City: Health authorities in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Sunday that over 100 Palestinians, including women, children, displaced individuals, and journalists, have been martyred in a brutal series of fire barrages unleashed by Israeli occupation fighter jets on residential homes and tents across northern and southern Gaza Strip.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Israeli occupation forces have escalated their attacks, intensifying both the targeting and the siege of the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza. Two patients were injured while attempting to flee the hospital, further compounding the suffering in the area.
The siege on the hospital has blocked vital access to injured civilians as the massacre against Gaza’s civilian population intensifies. The authorities have urgently called for immediate intervention to protect medical teams, patients, and the wounded trapped inside.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the most intense airstrikes were directed at displaced people’s tents in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, resulting in the brutal slaughter of dozens of displaced civilians, including women, children, and infants, as their tents were set on fire.
In the north, airstrikes were not limited to targeting residential homes but also civilian gatherings. The Israeli forces detonated explosive devices in densely populated residential areas, causing violent explosions heard across Gaza City and the northern governorate.
Rescue teams and civil defense forces have been unable to reach the devastated areas due to the severity of the attacks and the limited resources at their disposal.
The relentless and indiscriminate bombardment continues, with the occupation forces showing no regard for human life.
