Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces shot dead a Palestinian youth on Saturday evening in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. In a press statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victim as eighteen-year-old Himdan Abu Alia.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the village council head reported that the Israeli forces stormed the village and opened live fire at Abu Alia, shooting him in the back before beating him. He was transferred to hospital, where he succumbed to his critical injuries.
Earlier in the day, several Israeli settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked the village, setting vehicles and caravans on fire and attacking several homes.
