Israeli Occupation Airstrikes Result in 90 Palestinian Deaths in Gaza

Gaza: Israeli occupation airstrikes killed 90 Palestinians and injured 605 others in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, Palestinian health authorities said Saturday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the authorities reported that this has raised the toll to 55,297 deaths and 128,426 injuries since October 7, 2023.

In a press statement, the authorities noted that the death toll includes 29 martyrs and 380 wounded who arrived at hospitals while attempting to obtain aid in Gaza over the past 48 hours. This figure contributes to the total number of victims who have reached hospitals from areas designated for aid distribution since the end of May, which now stands at 274 martyrs and 2,532 wounded.

In addition to the ongoing airstrikes, the Israeli occupation continues to disrupt internet networks in the Gaza Strip for the fifth consecutive day. This action prevents telecommunications company crews from repairing internet supply lines, further isolating the region.

A statement by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate on Saturday highlighted that this occupation measure is aimed at isolating the Gaza Strip from the outside world, particularly inhibiting journalists and media organizations from covering what they describe as the ongoing war of genocide. The syndicate urged international communications organizations and journalists worldwide to expose this punitive measure and take serious and tangible steps against the Israeli occupation.
