Israeli Occupation Airstrikes Result in 82 Palestinian Deaths and 262 Injuries in Gaza

Gaza City: At least 82 Palestinians, among them a one-week-old infant, have been killed, and 262 others injured as Israeli occupation airstrikes on Gaza have persisted over the past 24 hours.

According to Kuwait News Agency, local health authorities released a statement on Wednesday highlighting the impact of the airstrikes. It was reported that the Israeli occupation’s aircraft specifically targeted several children, including the infant, who was killed instantly in an airstrike on a Palestinian family in central Gaza City.

The ongoing airstrikes have also targeted electrical generators that supply power to hospitals in Gaza, severely affecting their electromechanical systems. This has further strained the health system, putting more hospitals out of service and escalating the healthcare crisis in the region.

Since the Israeli occupation’s aggression began on October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached 53,655, with an additional 121,950 individuals injured. The continuous bombardment has left medical professionals in dire situations. In particular, eighteen doctors at the field hospital in Kamal Adwan are struggling to cope with the difficult conditions after recent airstrikes in northern Gaza rendered several hospitals non-operational.
