Israeli Occupation Airstrike in Southern Lebanon Kills One and Injures Seven

Beirut: Lebanon's Public Health Ministry announced that an Israeli occupation airstrike in southern Lebanon resulted in the death of one individual and injured seven others.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry's Emergency Operations Center reported that the airstrike targeted the Al-Msayleh area. The attack led to the death of a Syrian national and caused injuries to seven individuals, including one Syrian and six Lebanese nationals. Among the injured were two women.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun expressed condemnation of the attack, labeling it as an unprovoked aggression against civilian facilities. He highlighted the severity of the strike, noting that it occurred following a Gaza ceasefire agreement, which involved measures to contain weapons in Gaza. President Aoun questioned if there were attempts to shift the conflict to Lebanon and called for the application of the Gaza truce framework to Lebanon, emphasizing that all involved parties have already endorsed it.
