Beirut: One person was killed by an Israeli occupation air strike in southern Lebanon, health officials said Friday. Lebanon Emergency Center reported that an Israeli occupation drone targeted a vehicle in Ansar town, resulting in the death of one individual.
According to Kuwait News Agency, an earlier attack by Israeli occupation forces resulted in one fatality and 11 injuries when a car was targeted outside Tebnine Government Hospital in the Bint Jbeil municipality, Nabatiye Governorate, south Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health confirmed these casualties in a statement.
Despite a ceasefire agreement reached last November, Israeli occupation forces have persisted with their attacks on Lebanon. The Lebanese Army has reported approximately 4,500 violations, including shelling and airstrikes on various towns, indicating ongoing tensions in the region.
