Israeli Military Drone Strikes Car in South Lebanon, Resulting in Fatality

Beirut: A military drone of the Israeli occupation targeted a car in the southern village of Kafra, located in Lebanon’s Nabatiya province, killing one person and injuring five others, as reported by Lebanese health authorities. The incident took place in the heart of southern Lebanon, approximately 100 kilometers from the capital, Beirut.

According to Kuwait News Agency, all injured individuals were hospitalized following the attack in Kafra. The village is situated in the center of the south and has been part of ongoing tensions in the region. The strike is part of a series of daily attacks by Israeli forces on targets in Lebanon, which have persisted since a cease-fire was declared on November 27.

These Israeli occupation attacks violate the 2006 United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which calls for the cessation of hostilities between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation entity. The continuous breaches have raised concerns about escalating tensions and the potential for further conflict in the region.
