Israeli Media’s Fabricated Documents Aim to Stir Up Tension Between Qatar and US

Doha: Qatari International Media Office stated on Tuesday that fabricated documents are circulating in the Israeli media in an attempt to sow tension and division between Qatar and the US.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the media office emphasized in a press release that this development comes at a crucial stage of Qatar's mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The office noted that the circulation of these documents is a deliberate distraction aimed at deflecting attention from negative coverage of actions in Gaza, including those reported in the news over the past week, at a moment when a breakthrough is within reach.

The statement pointed out that such tactics have been employed previously by those who wish to see diplomacy fail. These individuals do not want Qatar's collaborative efforts with the Trump administration on the Gaza file and other regional issues to succeed in bringing peace to the region. The media office further explained that similar methods have been used against those who have spoken out against the continuation of the war or have worked diplomatically to bring hostages home, including members of Trump's administration. These efforts aim to discredit those involved and undermine the diplomatic process.

The media office urged all media outlets to remain vigilant against misinformation spread by those seeking to disrupt negotiations by any means necessary to prolong the conflict.
