Jenin: The Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs announced that a citizen was killed by Israeli occupation forces near the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the authority notified the Palestinian Ministry of Health about the death of 55-year-old Ahmad Al-Amour in the town of Rummana, located in the Jenin governorate. The authority also confirmed that the body of Al-Amour is currently being held.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted local sources who reported that occupation forces shot Al-Amour with live ammunition, ran him over with a military vehicle, and subsequently detained his body.
It was further reported that during the raid on the town, Israeli forces deployed snipers on rooftops and arrested Al-Amour's sons, intensifying the tensions in the region.
