Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces launched new attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past hours, resulting in the martyrdom of 66 Gazans and injuries to 265 others, according to local health authorities. The continuing aggression on Gaza has persisted despite much rhetoric about a possible truce, with the latest casualties bringing the toll of the Gaza war to 67,074 martyrs and 169,430 injured.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Israeli aggression on Gaza began in early October. The local authorities reported that six Gazans were martyred while seeking aid, with 40 others wounded in similar circumstances. The toll of food seekers in the enclave has risen to 2,603 martyrs, with more than 19,094 injured.
The ministry of health reported that over the last 24 hours, two babies died due to famine and poor nutrition, bringing the total fatalities in this category to 459, including 154 children. The deadly offensives continue amid discussions of a possible truce following Washington's declaration of a conciliation plan, to which Hamas has expressed initial approval.
The US plan calls for ceasing hostilities, releasing prisoners, and withdrawing Israeli troops from the enclave, much of which now lies in ruins.
