Al-khalil: The Israeli occupation forces have detained 30 Palestinians in the West Bank within the past 12 hours, as reported by the Palestinian Prisoner's Club on Tuesday. The arrests highlight ongoing tensions in the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, three of those detained had previously been arrested and were released as part of prisoner swaps earlier this year in January and February. The re-arrests serve as a caution to all former prisoners, signaling that they remain in the crosshairs of the occupation authorities.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Club noted that the recent detentions occurred in Al-Fawar camp in Al-Khalil (Hebron) and other provinces across the West Bank. The current wave of detentions adds to the more than 18,000 Palestinians who have been apprehended since the outbreak of the conflict in early October 2023.
