Beirut: Israeli occupation warplanes on Friday carried out a series of airstrikes on several areas in southern and eastern Lebanon, according to Lebanese media reports.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Lebanon's National News Agency reported that the strikes in the south targeted Jabal Safi and the outskirts of the town of Jbaa in the Iqlim al-Tuffah area, as well as Wadi Kfar Melki-Bislaya. The agency added that the outskirts of the Hermel region in northeastern Lebanon were also hit by Israeli airstrikes.
These attacks come amid a recent escalation by Israeli occupation forces against Lebanese towns, despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on November 27, 2024.
