Beirut: Lebanese Public Health Ministry announced Monday that 10 people were injured during Israeli occupation airstrikes on the south Sunday. A statement by the Ministry's Public Health Emergency Operations Center detailed that the airstrike on the town of Burj Rahal in the Tyre region caused injuries to nine citizens. In a separate incident, an airstrike on the town of Az-Zrariyah in the Sidon region resulted in a child being seriously injured and admitted to intensive care.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli occupation force infiltrated from the Khallet Warde border area, shortly after midnight, reaching the vicinity of the Ayta ash-Shaab municipality. These incidents are part of recent escalations by Israeli occupation forces, who have intensified their attacks on Lebanese towns despite a ceasefire agreement that initiated on November 27. Their continued presence and operations in southern Lebanon have been a source of tension, particularly in areas still occupied along the southern border.
