Israeli Airstrikes Claim Lives in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Three people were killed and one was injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Wednesday. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported these incidents, highlighting ongoing tensions despite a ceasefire agreement.

According to Kuwait News Agency, an Israeli drone launched an airstrike on the town of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil District, resulting in the death of one person. The Ministry of Health further stated that two individuals were killed, and a third was wounded in earlier airstrikes on the towns of Yater and Ain Baal on the same day.

Despite a ceasefire agreement that commenced on November 27, the Israeli occupation forces continue to target towns and vehicles in southern Lebanon. The withdrawal of the occupation army from Lebanese territory has not been complete, with several points along the southern border still seeing military activity.
