Beirut: Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that one person was killed and another injured in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli occupation in southern Lebanon.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) affiliated with the ministry reported that the airstrike targeted the area between Khirbet Selm and Kfar Dounine. This attack resulted in the death of a civilian and injuries to another in a preliminary toll.
In a related development, Lebanon's National News Agency reported that aircraft of the Israeli occupation also conducted air raids on the eastern mountain range, targeting the outskirts of the town of Nabi Sheet in eastern Lebanon.
Israeli occupation forces have continued to target towns, vehicles, and motorcycles primarily in southern Lebanon. They have also launched airstrikes in the eastern regions, despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024.
