Jerusalem: The Israeli occupation army launched a significant air campaign against Iran's capital, Tehran, targeting 40 sites over a period of two and a half hours on Saturday. This aggressive military action marks a significant escalation in tensions between the two nations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, Brigadier General Effie Defrin, confirmed the extensive operation in a televised speech. The campaign included strikes on various locations, with Defrin specifically affirming reports of an attack on a nuclear site in Isfahan, central Iran, the previous day. He declared that Iran is no longer immune to Israeli attacks, emphasizing that Israeli forces can now reach any location within Iran.
In response to these attacks, Iranian forces launched a missile attack on Tel Aviv, resulting in injuries to seven Israeli soldiers, as admitted by Defrin. This counterattack further intensifies the ongoing conflict between the two nations.
Moreover, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a stern warning, threatening severe repercussions if Iran continues its missile strikes against Israel. Katz accused Iran of crossing all red lines by directing their attacks inside Israel, promising that Iran would face significant consequences for their actions.
