Gaza: Health authorities announced that Israeli occupation killed 50 Palestinians and injured 184 others in the past 24 hours, amid the ongoing aggression now nearing two years. The statement showed that the total casualties since October 7, 2023, have risen to 66,055 deaths and 168,346 injuries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, on work-related casualties, the authorities reported five killed and 48 injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall toll of those killed while earning their livelihood to 2,571 deaths and more than 18,817 injuries. The health authorities renewed their call on human rights and UN organizations to pressure Israeli occupation for the immediate release of detained medical staff, noting that 361 healthcare workers are forcibly disappeared in Israeli occupation prisons, with rights groups barred from monitoring their conditions.
On the ground, eyewitnesses told KUNA that heavy artillery shelling is targeting Gaza overnight, with violent explosions hitting multiple neighborhoods, including Al-Sabra, Al-Maghrabi Street, and Al-Nasr. They added that Israeli occupation drones (quadcopters) also carried out repeated gunfire in areas such as Al-Rimal, Al-Saha, Al-Saraya, and around Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
