Riyadh: In 2025, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance implemented 45,927 volunteer opportunities, generating an estimated economic impact of SAR324,767,042.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry explained that total volunteer hours reached 54,043,697, with 813,933 male and female volunteers participating from various regions across the Kingdom.
The opportunities included organizing the entry and exit of worshippers at mosques during Ramadan and the two Eid holidays, distributing Iftar meals, and providing copies of the Holy Quran and religious gifts.
The economic return on these volunteer efforts reflects the significant developmental impact of volunteer work and its active role in supporting the national economy and promoting sustainable community development.
