Jazan: The branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Jazan Region has successfully completed 398,000 field inspection visits throughout 2025. These visits were aimed at ensuring the smooth operations and appropriate maintenance of religious facilities across the area.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspections were carried out by a team of more than 1,350 male and female inspectors. Their work covered a wide range of facilities, including mosques, prayer halls, and Quran memorization centers for both men and women. The primary focus of these visits was to monitor operations, check the readiness of facilities and services, and evaluate the standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
The inspectors were tasked with identifying and addressing any operational issues in line with established procedures. This proactive approach was intended to ensure that worshippers have access to a suitable and spiritually enriching environment. Additionally, the inspection tours involved the monitoring and documentation of dawah and outreach programs, which are crucial for organizing religious activities and facilitating the work of preachers. These efforts aim to enhance the overall quality of services provided in mosques throughout the Jazan region.
